266 Imitation
“My driver is on leave today. I’ll just take a taxi,” Zhao Hua lied. In truth, her dance company was losing money, and she quarreled with her husband who furiously deprived her of a driver and a car.
“Don’t worry. My driver is in the parking lot. I’ll ask him to send you back. Wei’er, do you have a chauffeur?” Chen Anhe said with a smile.
“Of course, I do. It’s not like you don’t know that He Xun is a meticulous and thoughtful person. He even arranged three chauffeurs for me. He was afraid that it would be inconvenient to go out if one of the chauffeurs took leave. Aunt Zhao, let my mother’s chauffeur send you! It’s alright. You don’t have to be so polite.”
Chen Wei’er had a smiling expression as she continued, “Aunt Zhao, if you don’t have enough chauffeurs, I can also introduce you to a few. We have a lot of chauffeurs. I can’t even use all of them!”
“No need. Our driver will be back tomorrow.” Zhao Hua tugged at the corner of her shirt and smiled stiffly.
“Aunt Zhao, you’re too polite. My mom also has another chauffeur, so it’s really not a problem.” Chen Wei’er’s smile was soft, but when she opened her mouth, her words were razor-sharp.
Chen Anhe found her daughter’s zealousness a little suspicious. She understood her daughter very well. Chen Wei’er only had a few relationships. She would not be so enthusiastic when talking to strangers. However, Chen Anhe could not ask Chen Wei’er in front of outsiders.
Chen Anhe could only suppress her doubts as she smiled. “Zhao, I’ll get my driver to send you back.”
Zhao Hua gritted her teeth and forced a grateful expression. “There’s really no need. I have something to do later.”
“Alright then. Be careful, Aunt Zhao. Taking a taxi these days frequently leads to accidents. You must be careful. I hope you will not encounter someone who deliberately takes a long way and then pulls you to a remote place to rob you!” Chen Wei’er’s lips curled as she smiled. Without waiting for her mother to say anything, she dragged Chen Anhe to leave.
Zhao Hua looked at their backs and bit her lips to the point of bleeding. Why did she always lose to Chen Anhe? Back then, her husband liked Chen Anhe. Even though Chen Anhe gave birth to a daughter out of wedlock, Zhao Hua’s husband still offered to marry her and even swore to treat Chen Anhe’s daughter as his own! And the result? Chen Anhe rejected it!
When Zhao Hua managed to marry her husband, he still kept Chen Anhe’s photos around. She only attempted to hide the photos, but her husband scolded her.
Zhao Hua assumed giving birth to a son would put an end to everything. Who would have thought that her husband would say that it was better to have a daughter? Her husband claimed that a daughter was much more considerate. When Zhao Hua finally gave birth to a daughter, her husband even sighed and said that their daughter wasn’t as beautiful as Chen Wei’er!
After experiencing so much, Zhao Hua hated Chen Anhe to the core, but she also unconsciously started to imitate her. By doing so, her husband’s expression became slightly better.
Chen Anhe opened a dance studio, so Zhao Hua opened one too!
When Chen Anhe made her daughter learn musical instruments and dance, Zhao Hua also made her own daughter learn the same!
Chen Anhe sent her daughter to a dance school, so Zhao Hua copied her accordingly.
When Chen Anhe sent her daughter to the He family for marriage, Zhao Hua began searching for suitable marriage partners for her daughter, but who could even match the He family?
Zhao Hua could only comfort herself that the life of a wealthy family seemed glorious, but it was actually hard. Just like her, she married into an affluent family, but wasn’t she still walking on thin ice?
Chen Wei’er was married to the richest man, so her life must be even more difficult! However, she didn’t expect that there would be reports of President He’s and Madam He’s deep love for each other on both TV and the internet every few days.
Zhao Hua felt that she couldn’t compare to Chen Anhe and her daughter couldn’t compare to Chen Anhe’s daughter! She was so angry that her teeth hurt.
Zhao Hua was fuming as she waved for a taxi. Unfortunately, it was rush hour, and there was a traffic jam. It took a while to get a taxi.
When Zhao Hua got in the car, she was shocked to see that the driver was a massive guy.
However, the car had already moved. Zhao Hua could only suppress her fear and give the address.
“Got it,” the driver said.
The driver’s voice was cold to Zhao Hua, and she shrank back in fear. She could only look out of the window to ease her mood. However, after looking for a while, she realized that the road was becoming more and more unfamiliar!
Chen Wei’er’s words suddenly rang in her ears. “Don’t come across someone who deliberately takes a long way and then pulls you to a remote place to rob you…”
Zhao Hua consoled herself, “I won’t…I won’t get robbed…”
The driver seemed to have heard his passenger say something. He looked at Zhao Hua through the rearview mirror and asked, “What did you just say?”
This question gave Zhao Hua a huge shock. She widened her eyes and shouted, “I don’t have any money!”
“Why did hail the taxi without money?” The driver frowned.
“Don’t take my money!” Zhao Hua’s nerves were tense.
‘Is there something wrong with her brain?’ The driver cursed in his heart that he had met a lunatic and directly stepped on the brake at the next intersection.
