Chapter 153: Sending a Message

After Mrs. Qin said this, the principal brushed her aside. “The students are currently attending self-study.”
Upon hearing this, Mrs. Qin frowned. “Then I’ll go take a look. Open the door for me later.”
The principal sighed. “Forget it. I’ll call her out. Wait a moment.”
Mrs. Qin was instantly overjoyed. “Alright, alright. I’ll have to trouble you, Principal.”
“No trouble at all. We know how parents and children feel. We know that it’s your first time sending the child over, so you’re worried.”
After the principal said that, he shouted, “Qin Shuang, come out and answer the call.”
Before her clothes were fully dried, Qin Shuang, who was shivering all over, stood up from her seat with a “swoosh” sound. That feeling of frequently suffocating could make one tremble in fear just thinking about it.
When she walked out of the door, the principal passed her the phone. “It’s your mother’s call. You have to speak to her properly, understand?”

Qin Shuang shuddered. She took the phone and said “Hello” in a low voice.
Hearing her weak voice, Mrs. Qin’s heart skipped a beat. She asked, “Xiao Shuang, are you… well today?”
Qin Shuang did not speak. She looked at the principal.
The principal stared at her fiercely.
Mrs. Qin continued, “Why aren’t you speaking anymore? I know you hate me, but I’m doing this for your own good. Rest well tonight and listen to the teacher. When you’re better and want to come back to study, I’ll transfer you back, alright?”
“Principal Wang.”
On the other side, the form teacher greeted Principal Wang. While they were speaking, Qin Shuang hurriedly covered the phone and said, “Save me! Save me!”
Mrs. Qin was stunned. “What?”
The principal turned to look at her. Qin Shuang saw the two of them walking toward her. In the dark environment, the light in the classroom shone on their faces and was vaguely visible, making them look as though they were demons.
Qin Shuang’s heart skipped a beat and she shouted, “They’re going to kill me! Save me!”
The principal rushed over and snatched the phone away. The form teacher covered Qin Shuang’s mouth and pulled her toward the sink in the courtyard.

The form teacher pressed Qin Shuang’s head down again!
Mrs. Qin stared at her phone blankly for a while. The principal sighed. “After she came here today, she kept trying to escape. We stopped her, and then she started spouting nonsense.”
Mrs. Qin said, “You still shouldn’t hit her!”
The principal instantly said in a serious tone, “We didn’t hit her. It’s illegal to punish students! How can a proper school be like this? We only saw her and didn’t let her run. She keeps wanting to do a live-stream!”
Mrs. Qin heaved a sigh of relief. “Don’t punish the child.”
“Don’t worry. Sigh, but your child is really stubborn. However, she will return home in a week. You can check her and see that we didn’t hit her!”
After hanging up, Mrs. Qin felt even more uneasy.
She looked at Mr. Qin. “Xiao Shuang shouted for help just now. Her voice has never sounded so panicked before. Could it be that something really happened?”
Mr. Qin frowned as well. “Why don’t we go take a look?”
Mrs. Qin nodded and stood up. “Sure. I won’t feel at ease if I don’t go take a look.”
As the two of them walked out, Mr. Qin’s phone suddenly rang. He answered the call and said a few words before saying, “Something happened in the office.”
Mrs. Qin: “Then go get busy. I’ll go take a look alone.”
The two of them left the bedroom and went downstairs. Just as they were about to leave, they bumped into Qin Lu, who had returned home.
After asking them what’s up, Qin Lu said, “Mom, I’ll accompany you!”
Mrs. Qin nodded.
When the two of them arrived outside the school, the principal personally welcomed them. He said directly, “You can’t go in. We had dinner with much difficulty today. If they know that their parents are being soft-hearted the moment they get in, our efforts today will be in vain. When we first built the school, we suggested that the parents should not enter the school. If other children see this, they too would request for visits, but that is against the school rules.”
Mrs. Qin was worried and wanted to say something when Qin Lu suddenly said, “Why don’t I go take a look?”
Just as the principal was about to reject her, Mrs. Qin said, “That’s right. If Qin Lu enters, she can pretend to be just another student and won’t affect others. Let her help me take a look. Otherwise, I won’t feel at ease.”
The principal glanced at Qin Lu and nodded. “Alright.”
The principal led Qin Lu into the school. As they turned left and right, Qin Lu sized up the school. It was no wonder that this school did not allow parents to enter. It was really just a wall of steel. It looked very stifling, and there were pools in the yard whose purpose she could not make out.
